Test Engineer Specialist

This role is accountable for designing, developing and maintaining test procedures, tester hardware and software for electronic circuit board manufacturing.
Main Responsibilities
- To recruit and interview Process Technicians effectively.
- To communicate job criteria to recruiters for Process Technician candidates.
- To capture ongoing employee and team development data.
- To create or validate training curriculum in the area of responsibility.
- To coach and mentor Process Technicians to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer.
- To establish clear measurable goals and objectives to determine individual and team results.
Technical Capabilities
- To review circuit board designs for testability requirements.
- To support manufacturing with failure analysis, tester debugging, reduction of intermittent failures and downtime of test equipment.
- To prepare recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures from product design phase through to initial production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering required.
- Three to five years experience in test engineering and management necessary.
