Job Description
  • Manage and align design activities with client, construction, and consultant expectations.
  • Oversee the creation, review, and approval of design documentation, ensuring alignment with contractual and program requirements.
  • Monitor and report on design progress, facilitating weekly/monthly reporting.
  • Evaluate technical compliance, reviewing calculations and shop drawings for structural, rebar, BSS, and MEP systems.
  • Authorize material submittals, invoices, and design change documentation.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities for necessary approvals and submissions.
  • Lead and motivate the design team; oversee document control and quality assurance.
  • Align design efforts with project delivery objectives, integrating with planning, procurement, and site operations.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in construction design management.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (STAAD, Prokon, ETABS, AutoCAD).
  • Strong skills in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Proven leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
