GSC supports the National Science Foundation managed United States Antarctic Program as part of the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC). We are currently seeking a Production Cook to join our team in South Pole.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for high quality food production, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and assisting the Sous Chef as necessary.

  • Implement and maintain a safe workplace program ensuring safety is the highest priority
  • Maintain flexibility and positivity in dynamic environments
  • Work effectively in a team unit composed of diverse personalities
  • Display self-motivation in physically challenging working environments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school education or GED required
  • Current ServSafe Food Handler certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid U.S. Passport
  • Minimum one year experience in high-volume cooking facilities
