A successful Production Cook is sought to work at the South Pole Station during Austral Winter 2026.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing high-quality, large-volume food production as directed by the Sous Chef, maintaining a safe and sanitary working environment, and ensuring proper equipment maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining flexibility and a positive attitude in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Working effectively in a team unit composed of diverse personalities
  • Displaying self-motivation in physically challenging environments
  • Following standardized recipes and preparing all assigned menu items for primary and satellite locations

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of cooking experience, preferably in high-volume facilities. Previous experience with Food Services in Antarctica may also be accepted.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • High school education or GED required
  • Current ServSafe Food Handler certificate
  • Valid driver's license and U.S. Passport
