Family Farming and Rural Development Specialist

The project aims to contribute to the national process of strengthening family farmers in Brazil, reducing poverty and revitalizing rural areas. We seek to implement differentiated policies and programs that improve the capacities of the government, local communities, and family farmers.
Key activities include:
- Supporting meetings with government officials and technicians from the Secretariat of Family Agriculture and Agroecology;
- Conducting research on budget execution and producing information on technical assistance and rural extension initiatives;
- Analyzing and systematizing actions taken by Dater/SAF-MDA for managing information and knowledge;
- Carrying out surveys and systematizing results of initiatives operated by DATER;
Requirements include a University Degree in Applied Social Sciences, 08 years of experience in public policies of Family Farming and Public Budget, and working knowledge of English or Spanish and Portuguese.
