This position is integral to the UTF/BRA/089 project, which aims to empower family farmers in Brazil through poverty reduction and rural revitalization initiatives.
The specialist will contribute to national processes by implementing policy frameworks that enhance government capacities, local farmer empowerment, and sustainable agricultural practices. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing ATER strategies for rural extension and technical advisory services.
- Designing and managing credit programs to support family farmers.
- Collaborating on land access and governance initiatives.
- Enhancing market access and cooperativism through strategic partnerships.
