Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at FLSmidth, Inc. This is a key role that will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture a larger share of the local market demand.
  2. Portfolio Management: Manage and develop the overall portfolio of the business to ensure a highly profitable business.
  3. Sales and Marketing Support: Identify, evaluate, and support the Sales Teams in negotiating and marketing growth opportunities.
  4. Commercial Strategy Development: Develop and oversee complex commercial strategies, sales channels, and new service development strategies for service centers in SAMER.
  5. Business Integration: Integrate new business into the organization based on Service Centers capabilities.
  6. Global Sales Planning: Ensure the strategic support for the preparation of a large-scale global sales plan describing the general steps, milestones, and resources needed to formulate proposals covering the entire multidimensional scope.
  7. Utilization and Profitability: Define and drive initiatives to increase utilization and profitability from a Sales perspective.
  8. Collaboration and Communication: Ensure collaborative work with the S%SS, GSLM, OH/OE, Procurement, and support areas.
  9. Financial Management: Be responsible for SC ́s Sales budget and performance.
  10. Project Management: Lead the investment projects or projects to increase and expand the capacity of the SCs in the region, ensuring their correct implementation.
  11. Strategic Alignment: Implement strategies aligned with global and regional initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in the repair of market components.
  2. Sales Abilities: Strong sales abilities.
  3. Education: Bachelor's degree, Business Bachelor or Engineering Degree in high-level qualification.
  4. Language Skills: Advanced English, Spanish, and Portuguese language skills.
