About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Solutions Sales Associate - Entry Level to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first call response for customer inquiries and requests for solutions pricing and quoting.
  • Engage with customers to understand their solution requirements and provide configuration and pricing information.
  • Utilize sales and quoting systems to configure, price, and quote solutions for customers.
  • Deliver solutions to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Provide customers with information to assist in making decisions regarding hardware, software, and services.
  • Adhere to customer program requirements and ensure enforcement of terms, freight, inventory, pricing, etc.
  • Supply final adjusted design solution pricing based on applicable programs, promotions, and add-ons.
  • Use internal resources to resolve or escalate pre-sales issues.
  • Refer requests for product education and product alternatives outside of your area of knowledge to others.
  • Follow up on all opportunities and monitor pipeline activity to close within the identified forecast period.
  • Contribute to forecast consolidations.
  • Participate in planning and reviews for customers in your assigned territory.
  • Implement actions identified by management to resolve identified budget gaps.
  • Maintain integrity of customer information in TD SYNNEX systems.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated entry-level working knowledge of product, pricing, customer service, and sales strategy.
  • Demonstrated entry-level working knowledge of simple configuration solutions design, including tools, products, and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and use appropriate tools to price simple configuration requests.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of sales and quoting systems.
  • Demonstrated working-level attention to detail and the ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks based on identified process requirements.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Knowledge of the distribution industry.

Work Experience:

  • One year of experience in a configuration, sales, or other related role with extensive customer service interface in a technical or product support role within a computer products, system solutions-related distribution business or similar environment.

Education and Certification(s):

  • Bachelor Degree in business, IT, or related field or an equivalent combination of formal education, training, and directly related job experience.
  • Product/supplier certifications as required.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

  • This position provides entry-level first call response for assigned territory customers.
