Accounting Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a senior manager in financial advisory and reporting services. This role is ideal for an accomplished accounting expert with expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and technical accounting matters.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Big Four accounting firms, audit, and accounting advisory services, as well as exposure to multiple industries such as manufacturing, infrastructure, SaaS, retail, and professional services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain high-level advisory experience while collaborating with senior leadership and supporting clients through complex accounting challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical accounting advisory services, including IFRS and US GAAP conversions, financial statement preparation, and complex transaction analysis.
  • Support advisory engagements related to financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting policy implementations.
  • Collaborate with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance teams on regulatory compliance, GAAP conversions, and implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Conduct research on technical accounting issues and provide recommendations for best practices.
  • Support M&A transactions by providing purchase accounting, due diligence, and post-merger financial reporting services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and accounting processes.
  • Mentor and guide junior professionals to ensure quality service delivery and knowledge sharing.
