**Job Description:**

We are looking for a seasoned expert with a Ph.D. in Life Sciences to lead the recruitment of new authors and content for our journal. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and guiding authors through the manuscript submission process, collaborating with Guest Editors to build Methods Collections, establishing a network of scientists to drive content acquisition, and working closely with our peer review team to facilitate the publication of manuscripts.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Recruit new authors and guide them through the manuscript submission process.
  • Collaborate with Guest Editors to build Methods Collections.
  • Establish and maintain a strong network of scientists/journal authors to drive content acquisition and grow submission rates.
  • Work closely with the peer review team to facilitate the publication of manuscripts.
  • Meet or exceed monthly acquisition targets.

Requirements:

  • A Ph.D. in Life Sciences.
  • Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-driven, with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with the publishing process is a plus.
