Senior Clinical Director

This clinical leadership position plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of post-acute care services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in medical necessity reviews, utilization management, and discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical necessity reviews to ensure accurate and timely authorization decisions.
- Provide guidance and education to internal stakeholders on clinical issues and case reviews related to authorization requests and clinical guidelines criteria.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote proactive discharge planning and reduce readmissions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance post-acute care services and patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active and unencumbered medical license.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an area of relevant clinical practice.
- Expertise in post-acute care, home health, DME, and sleep fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
