Job Title: Bar Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Operations Manager to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and managing a dedicated team of bar staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Ensure that approved service sequences and standards are established and maintained at all times.
  • Licensing and Compliance: Understand all licensing and operating legislation which affects the department, including the Liquor Act.
  • Inventory Management: Perform monthly stock takes on all beverage stock and complete timely reporting of inventory management findings.
  • Staff Management: Assist in staff rostering and develop training plans for all outlet Team Members.
  • Financial Management: Monitor the venue's budget, control costs, and maximize profitability.
  • Guest Service: Assist guests with all enquiries and complaints while providing accurate information to guests about property facilities and features.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a high level of cleanliness and care of all equipment and materials.
  • Events and Promotions: Collaborate with the Venue Manager on events and promotions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Bar Manager in a high-volume bar.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Inventory Management: Knowledge of bar inventory management and ordering processes.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Passion for Hospitality: A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
