About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the front of house team of our outlet, ensuring that the high standards required by our hotel and guests are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management
- Lead and direct all aspects of restaurant operations, taking full responsibility for the front of house.
- Demonstrate authoritative leadership with the gravitas to oversee all restaurant functions.
- Team Development
- Bring a wealth of experience across different outlets, driving and motivating staff to provide guests with the ultimate dining experience.
- Develop the team to consistently deliver 5-star service.
- Commercial Acumen
- Be commercially astute with an understanding of financial requirements to successfully reopen an outlet.
- Apply commercial know-how to run a successful restaurant in a manner that enhances our hotel's reputation.
- Operational Excellence
- Multitask and organize with excellence, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding communication.
- Maintain full knowledge and understanding of current health and safety policies.
Requirements
- Experience
- Bring 5-10 years of experience managing dining venues, with a preference for candidates who have experience with pre-openings or re-openings.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Possess exceptional knowledge of food and beverage, including current and future trends.
- Have strong wine knowledge, ideally with WSET Level 3 certification or similar.
- Utilize an analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making and demonstrate proven financial acumen, including long-term strategy planning and budgeting.

- Exhibit the character and charisma to lead the team and create memorable guest interactions.
- Lead from the front with a hands-on, proactive approach.
- Inspire, develop, and engage a large and diverse team.
