Vulnerability and Compliance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Vulnerability and Compliance Engineer to join our team. This is a challenging opportunity for someone who wants to work in a dynamic environment and make a real impact.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and remediating system vulnerabilities across various platform systems. They will partner with technical teams to achieve continuous improvement across our compute platforms.

  • Partner with technical teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Cyber team to track and resolve security vulnerability findings within appropriate timeframes
  • Implement and maintain Tanium endpoint security solutions to detect and remediate vulnerabilities in real-time
  • Provide regular Tanium reports and chartings on the state of vulnerabilities and remediation efforts
  • Contribute to the design and deployment of standardized solutions with end-to-end automation for our patching solutions
  • Participate in research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry, and market trends to assist in operational support

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in enterprise-scale engineering or relevant discipline
  • Experience using WSUS for server patching
  • Experience with Tanium or similar patching applications
  • Experience with Solarwinds Environment
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 configuration, patching, and security hardening experience
  • CVE vulnerability remediation experience
  • Experience with automating and scripting tasks
  • Experience with ticketing and change request system
  • Advanced/Fluent English
