Procurement Specialist Role Summary:

This position requires a highly skilled professional to manage indirect material needs, develop solutions, and proactively manage sourcing needs for assigned categories.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers related to category of spend, providing data-driven recommendations to support strategic supplier relationships.
  • Participate in defining sourcing strategies and executing negotiations for local contracts to meet financial targets.
  • Maintain relationships with local suppliers based on Global Procurement's supplier segmentation strategy.
  • Support organizational change management efforts for plant or country, assessing readiness for change and overcoming barriers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of procurement experience in multinational or large national companies.
  • Proficient negotiation abilities, application of strategic sourcing process, project management, change management, excellent communication skills.
