Bra Labs Senior Developer

**ADP Labs is hiring a Senior Software Developer**

You will start your day on a scrum call to sync up the sprint work and goal with your team. You will spend most of your day designing, developing and testing your code and supporting your team members. Every week you will be able to deploy your code in production using automated continuous integration and continuous deployment.

To thrive in this positon, you’ll need to:

- Be senior in Javascript/NodeJS programming language, for backend and frontend purposes. Experience with reactive UIs (using React/Redux/Flux libraries or other front-end frameworks) is highly desirable
- Have solid knowledge of web standards for designing, developing and using modern Web APIs
- Have strong understanding of RDBMS/noSQL (mySQL and MongoDB) and caching technologies (Redis and/or Memcache)
- Be experienced in development involving messaging systems - like RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS or Apache Kafka
- Have deep experience with cloud services common to serverless architectures (such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, etc.)
- Be an advocate for best software development practices

Your responsibilities will be:

- Develop frontend and backend services in NodeJS and React
- Support production software operations, test and debug programs
- Make a good use of the CI and CD pipeline
- Be an influencer both technical and mindset wise on thebest software development practices.
- Design and maintain automated tests, monitoring, alerting and reporting systems.
- Report progress and status of assigned tasks to project teams and managers.

You don’t need to know every technology, but you’re an enthusiastic creator who stays current and looks forward to trying new code. You’re always looking for new ways to make tools better for our users.

You will work closely with Architects, Product Owners and your team to lead and guide projects to success. You’ll have a hands-on role designing, developing, debugging, and deploying software solutions where you can leverage your expertise with code complexities. You’ll also serve as a mentor to other developers.
