Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Thorough knowledge of International, Brazilian and U.S. GAAP (including the FASB Codification) and related research tools
- Experience with accounting closing process, including preparing and reviewing reconciliations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines
- Written and spoken fluency in English and Portuguese required

Amazon is a fast paced, dynamic, high-tech company. The LATAM Stores Accounting organization supports our financial reporting, internal control, and also supports new business launches for Amazon in the consumer products, initiatives, merchant, operations, logistics and payments.
Key job responsibilities
- Work independently to manage projects within the LATAM programs that require detailed design discussions.
- Coordinate with stakeholder teams across multiple organizations and regions to establish and maintain strong communication channels, and improve internal processes/controls as well as external partnerships.
- Work towards automating user acceptance testing (UAT) and accounting requirement document (ARD) creation for multiple high-visibility projects.
- Operational accounting experience with international companies
- Experience handling big amount of data and concepts of data analytics and SQL is desirable
- Written and spoken advanced in Spanish
