**The Position**
- As a Business Development Director, you will:
- Lead strategic business development projects.
- Seek out and negotiate partnerships and collaborations.
- Evaluate market trends and perform due diligence.
- Negotiate deals that meet commercial goals.
- Ensure internal alignment and obtain necessary approvals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to approve and implement projects.
- Work with legal and finance departments to finalize partnership agreements.
- Engage with potential partners to develop collaboration opportunities.
**Qualifications**
- To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
- Extensive experience in business development within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and executing partnerships, licensing agreements, and/or acquisitions.
- In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical market landscape, including key competitors, market trends, and regulatory environment.
- Experience in conducting due diligence for potential collaborations or acquisitions.
- Strong network and relationships in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with legal, finance, marketing, and other relevant departments.
- Familiarity with market access, pricing, and reimbursement considerations in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a business development team and drive results.
