Community Program Associate

AcadArena, the home of campus gaming across Southeast Asia, is expanding its activities to Brazil. We're building the place where students **play, connect and earn**.

Started in 2019 as a volunteer events gig, we've grown into a venture-backed 30-plus-person team creating communities, technologies and experiences that allow hundreds of thousands of students to learn about and explore the world of gaming and the metaverse.

As we continue to scale, we're looking forward to grow our awesome and diverse team of dreamers and creators to keep **building what we wish we had as students**.

**What the Role Is About**:
The Community Program Associate works on our Student Life & Community team to help nurture what makes AcadArena special: our campus communities. You'll be wearing many different microhats on top of general project management to support our growing Alliance program: our network of campus gaming clubs across the region.

This role necessitates a lot of passion towards giving the next generation what they need to succeed - be it in the form of resources, mentorship or education.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with BR Country Manager and other Community Managers overseas to help drive AcadArena's growing student life products to scale and succeed based on directives:

- ** Alliance Program**: Student org accreditation and support network.
- ** Community Cups**: Tournaments made for all for students by students.
- ** BoostCamp**: Alternative learning systems for different kinds of learners looking to level up soft skills and industry skillset in esports.
- ** Scholarships**: The first of its kind in Brazil—financial support for all types of student gamer profiles.
- ** AcadArena Lounge**: Discord server for AcadArena's general community.
- Incubate and monitor potential student-life activations outside of the current portfolio.
- Design and administer learning experiences for different kinds of learners across profiles.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to improve integration of the student life product ecosystem to inform design and strategies.
- Lead and guide discussions with multiple campus communities and educational institutions on activating and developing their campus esports space.
- Be on top of streamlining and updating product executions to align with the ever-evolving student lifestyle.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Industry Expert.** 2+ years of program, community or product management or accounts management. Fields relating to grassroots, campus life or educational events is a plus.
- Working on your college club absolutely counts
- ** Solid Team Player.** Has a proven track record in delivering projects from scratch while working with a team with clearly defined short-term to long-term goals.
- ** Data-driven.** Capable of researching and analyzing relevant data to inform decisions.
- ** Goal Oriented.** Laser-focused on directives and tasks. Able to study markets to temper our competitive advantage.
- ** Values-driven & Youth Focused.** You strongly believe in youth empowerment and have a good grasp of their needs and struggles.
- ** Gaming & Tech-savvy.** Strong interest in video games, esports and web3. Fully immersed in a digital lifestyle.
- ** Effective Communicator.** Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills in both English and Portuguese.
