Senior Associate, Global Programs

As B Lab continues to grow our team and our movement, we are building our capacity to spread our impact through new strategies, programs, and products. The Global Programs team is accountable for the strategic coherence and network-wide implementation of programs that drive B Lab's strategic objectives. This Senior Associate role will engage with our Global Partner network to strengthen and improve programs that focus on measuring, managing, and improving the impact of businesses around the world. This is a new role on the Global Programs team, reflecting the growing demand from companies and organizations to engage in this movement. As a core member of the team focused on our Impact Management efforts, you will collaborate and partner with many different stakeholders within the Programs team, and across different functions within B Lab Global (e.g., Product, Strategy, Technology, Standards, Marketing, and more). Most importantly, the foundation to success in this role will be strong and collaborative relationships across our entrepreneurial global network that will enable increased innovation, knowledge-sharing and impact of our Impact Management programs. You will support important impact management priorities through gathering internal and external stakeholder inputs, creating deliverables, designing and implementing new processes, and designing approaches that sustain network-wide innovation and collaboration. You will hone and utilize your skills relating to change management, entrepreneurship, and culture change to strengthen the impact of our dynamic global network. This role will support our global network in increasing impact across the global. **Core Responsibilities**:**Global Engagement & Innovation [70%]** - Build and maintain relationships with Programs & Impact Management teams across the global network, sensing the "needs of the network" to understand regional program priorities and necessary support - Organize and facilitate cross-network forums, bringing fresh ideas to local and global Impact Management programs through creating innovative environments - Identify areas for collaboration, centralization, and standardization for Impact Management programs, and engage with stakeholders to see prioritize and deliver on these goals - Create and implement processes for collaboration, buy-in, and knowledge-sharing across the global network - Support roll-out of global Impact Management technology platforms into local programs, partnerships, and offerings **Program Operations & Planning [30%]** - Collaborate with Program Manager in project management and cross-functional engagement - Proactively engage cross-functionally within B Lab Global, understanding other teams' priorities and how they fit with Impact - Management Program goals (e.g., Standards, Strategic Growth, JEDI) - Support in identification, research, and advocacy for new centralized and decentralized program opportunities - Support engagement with external partners, including but not limited to Corporate Social Responsibility teams, sustainability & social impact organizations, and other peers that use B Lab's Standards and tools **About You**:**Approximately** 2-4 years of experience of project/program management** - the ability to drive a process forward with a focus on collaboration with a complex network of stakeholders **Systems thinker** - the ability to be balanced in getting things accomplished within the external system of people and things in which you work **Process-oriented** with strong attention to detail **Innovative & creative thinker** - the ability to bring "big" thinking to discussions, and in particular the knack for bringing this kind of thinking out of others **Clear communicator** - excellent written & verbal communication skill with the ability to distill complex concepts and data into digestible pieces for a wider audience **Global mindset** - proven ability to understand the large & small differences across the global network, and customize approaches to address local and global realities **Confident & organized facilitator**: - experienced in guiding large group discussions, and keeping a diverse audience focused on a collective goal **Understanding of corporate social responsibility concepts** - for instance, sustainability, impact management, etc.
