What you'll do
- Provide Level 2 Support to field engineers, technicians or product support people - resolving technical issues, maintenance problems or bugs encountered by customers in a live production environment.
- Conduct system maintenance and monitoring to ensure adherence to contracted service level agreements as well as ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Maintain RedHat Linux and proprietary Application software and assist with integration and system testers to successfully test/correct software.
- Support critical incidents and escalations.
- Provide off-hours (on call) support as needed.
You should have
- Associates or bachelor's degree in, Engineering in Information Technology; Computer Science related field, or equivalent experience
- 1 -2 years of experience with troubleshooting, bug fixes and level 1 or level 2 support.
- Great knowledge in Linux and Bash Scripting (must)
- Experience working in the IT industry, Telecommunications products and intermediation.
- Great English skills in a business environment (must)
