**Position Description**:
The Senior Manager Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS), Regional Excellence (Latin America) - New Consumer Health will be responsible for coordinating harmonized approaches to support the effective and efficient implementation of NCHC EHS Standards, strategy, and performance measures in the Latin America (LATAM) Region. Working closely with Regional & Site Leaders, accountable for ensuring key EHS requirements are understood, technical competence is maintained, and state-of-the-art practices and techniques are deployed at the site level. In partnership with the NCHC assurance team, coordinate the execution of the NCHC EHS Assurance Program across the region. S/He will also be responsible for supporting regional environmental sustainability projects/reporting and external supply audits as needed. The following are key aspects of this role:
**EHS Leader, LATAM Regional Excellence responsibilities**:

- Serve as an active member of the Regional EHS Leadership Team working with regional and site leaders in support of strong consistent programs across the region including assurance, environmental sustainability and external supply.
- Review newly released NCHC EHS Standards and initiatives to identify key provisions and provide recommendations/approaches to facilitate efficient, effective, and consistent implementation across the region.
- Serve as a regional EHS support to address issues requiring rapid response (ex. serious incidents, significant program gaps, etc.) where specific SME expertise or resource is needed to address deficits or support priority site mitigation plans.
- Collaborates with EHS Strategy Leader, Business Intelligence and Analytics team to provide insights and data visualization needs to drive EHS performance.
- Serve as the lead for key EHS Strategies and high priority workplan initiatives including environmental sustainability and external supply.
- Utilize LEAN, standardization, process maturity approaches, and IT-tools as enablers to make programs, systems, and processes more effective/efficient/customer focused and improve the effectiveness of the Regional EHS Leadership Team.
- Support the assurance process within the Region to include data assurance, data use, training/capability, audits, program reviews, program requirements: understanding, and ISO group certification.
- Provides regional management with ongoing consultation pertaining to environmental, health and safety regulations identifying the impacts of changes to regulations on key business objectives.
- Monitor key metrics (Severe Injury/Fatality (SIF) Prevention (SIF-p), CAPA, etc.) and EHS risks to identify areas of opportunity and develop approaches to address gaps.
- Support sites with corrective action planning.
- Maintain an awareness of key NCHC EHS tools and provide support to teams/sites who have not effectively implemented these tools.
- Serve as a conduit between SMEs and sites to ensure newly proposed EHS requirements are implementable and advocate for changes where needed.
- Identify items/issues and inefficiencies at the site level.
- Serve as SME in incident investigation driving utilization of NCHC tools and serving as Lead Investigator when called upon for SIF or select SIF-p events.
- Lead the Assurance Audit Process across the LATAM Region to include the following:

- Conduct routine training to ensure a competent pool of auditors are trained and available to execute the audit
