The Field Technical Representative is responsible for managing the technical and quality relationship of Tampico licensees in Brazil and around the world. Frequent travel is required with this position (up to 80%). The main objective of this position is to maintain and improve effectiveness of the Tampico Food Safety and Quality System at the licensee’s production facilities. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the quality performance of licensees and of the Tampico finished goods being produced. The Field Technical Representative also assists the licensees with production, sanitation and distribution issues related to Tampico product quality, as well as supports/manages all technical requests from and to the licensees. This position reports to the Quality Manager, with frequent interactions with Tampico Operations, Quality, R&D, and Commercial departments.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee proper implementation and use of Tampico Quality System and Quality Assurance policies and procedures at licensee production and distribution locations
- Create and implement detailed reports of audit visits and incident investigations, along with associated action plan containing Root Cause and Corrective / Preventive Actions.
- Address quality and production issues when qualifying new licensees while evaluating potential quality, production and distribution risks, opportunities, and performing root cause analysis along with corrective/preventive actions.
- Support, inform and instruct licensees on QA/QC topics, recommended quality control testing equipment, sanitation and general food safety procedures.
- Actively maintain line of communication with licensees.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 3-5 year experience as a quality supervisor in food manufacturing is required, preferably in the beverage bottling facility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science or other related discipline is required, (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
- Experience in Quality Systems (QA/QC plans, HACCP, GFSI, etc.)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Detail oriented with exceptional planning and organizational skills
- Experience as a Quality Manager in the beverage bottling business preferred
- Food/Beverage Plant auditor certification is preferred
- Live in close proximity to an International airport
- Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese required; Fluency in English preferred
- Must currently reside in Brazil
