Demonstrated knowledge in architecting, deploying, and the operation of solutions. Past experience working directly in customer implementations is highly desirable;
- Experience working with end user or developer communities;
- Strong verbal and written communications skills in both Portuguese and English are a must. Spanish is desirable;
- The position is based in São Paulo, Brazil. Some travel may be required.

Job summary

As a Partner Solutions Architect focused on System Integrators within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services (Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS and Amazon CloudFront) across the partner community. Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement with strategic partners and assist technically in projects.

Job responsibilities

As a strategic member of the AWS Solutions Architect team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our managed System Integrators. This includes:

- As a Partner Solutions Architect, you will work with partners to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes;
- You will own the technical relationship with partner and operate as their trusted advisor. The best interests of each partner will shape the guidance you provide;
- Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements;
- Assist solution providers with the definition of technical strategies that enable them to sell more of their offering on the AWS platform;
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community and other AWS communities;
- Share customer and partner feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS;
- Evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. workshops, bootcamps, user groups, meet-ups, public speaking, blogs, whitepapers, online videos or conferences);
- Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching and mentoring others.
- BA/BS degree is desired; Information Technology, Computer Science or Technical background highly desired; Advanced Degree a plus;
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud;
- Previous experience with Amazon Web Services;
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience with DevOps on AWS;
- AWS Certifications e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.
