BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience working in an HR/ID&E/PwD/Accessibility related function
- 5+ years’ program management experience specifically in Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (ID&E) and Disability Inclusion
- Experience developing and owning strategy, end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- The ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment
- A demonstrated track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and driving them to completion.
- Collaborative skills and an ability to influence without authority while also being able to work with significant autonomy

The main responsibility of the role is to build and execute on the data-driven ID&E global disability goals, strategy and initiatives for AWS countries and hold leaders accountable to the execution of these goals and initiatives in order to transform the culture.

As part of the AWS Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (ID&E) global team, you will lead the strategy formulation, launch,creating of an implementation framework, execution and reporting of global disability inclusion programs and goals. You will also be responsible for the results of those programs and the impact they have on our builders and the business. These will range across HR processes, including but not limited to: partnering with diversity recruiting work streams to ideate and execute on people with disabilities (PwD) hiring programs, working with ID&E Business Partners to build awareness and a culture of inclusion locally, researching best practices to set bold direction for disability inclusion, and collaborating with our Affinity Groups(Employee Resource Groups) and Accessibility teams to implement strategies that improve our builders’ experience holistically.

This role will report into AWS ID&E Leader (APJC, EMEA & LATAM), and partner closely with the Business leaders, the Talent Acquisition organization, HR Business Partners, Compliance, Legal, the Amazon Global Diversity Equity and Inclusion Organization, Amazon Accessibility/Accommodation teams, and other stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop, implement and track progress of AWS Global Disability Inclusion strategy and goals
- Partner with Business, HR & ID&E Business Partners to develop, implement and monitor programs that support PwD hiring, retention and development
- Develop tracking and audit process to ensure we are compliant beyond local regulatory and government requirements and on track to achieve our PwD hiring goals
- Partner with the ID&E Business Partners to deploy awareness raising strategies on disability inclusion considering unique context in each region and location
- Develop guidelines and playbook relevant to disability inclusion
- Partnership/Advisory: Represent the AWS ID&E team and serve as a resource for business stakeholders in disability inclusion related discussions internally and with partners and customers externally
- Connect with Amazon PwD Affinity Groups or other internal disability communities to elevate their voice and create synergy between their programs and the global disability strategy
- Provide consultation and partnership to business leaders/AWS customers on best practices around disability inclusion
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ID&E & PwD principles
- Knowledge of PwD legislations across countries
- Demonstrated throught leadership in the PwD Inclusion area
- Demonstrated experience building and executing successful ID&E/disability inclusion programs
