Our Major Projects Department is now looking for a Business Manager.

**What will you be doing?**:
Essential functions:
The Business Manager is part of the Major Projects Team, which is jointly responsible for achieving the project objectives (budget, scope, time schedule and quality) and responsible for supporting the needs of Project Engineering Manager, Project Procurement Manager and Regional Project Manager. Fully accountable for knowledge area activities in all Regions: 1) Change management, 2) Cost management, 3) Contract management and 4) Risk management. Responsible for the Project Commercial Strategy throughout all phases of the project. In addition, responsible for other costs under the project as: administration activities, travel, etc. Jointly responsible for promoting HSSE and quality mind-set, and on-time delivery. Responsible for commercial awareness, contract compliance, risk and change in all project resources. Be responsible for interface EPCI contractors with the commercial and technical mind-set Client contact or commercial awareness
**Responsibilities**:
Follow PEM for project management and execution. Execution:
Guide project team in correct implementation of Subsea working processes and help the project team to understand the overall picture; Administration, communication and reporting within the essential functions above including: Assist Project Manager in compiling and presenting status reports to Client and Subsea Management (MFO / MPR); Prepare internal and external project reports (cost, risk and scope) according to procedures and contract requirements; Ensure that correspondence and other formal exchanges with both the customer and other parties involved are following contractual and commercial requirements; Verify scope of delivery: Check contract vs. MEL, and ensure that all deliverables have a delivery milestone Alignment and execution of project reporting to Business and Company reporting schedules. Implement Contract and Change Management process according to governing procedures; Ensure scope changes are communicated and incorporated into SoW and updated
Integrated scope management, ensure scope changes are communicated to all project team members for incorporation into their responsibility; Prepare contractual / commercial correspondence in cooperation with the Project Manager and Contract Advisor; Identify, administer and manage project changes (PCRs, VOs, VORs) and applicable procedures; Support and advice project team on contractual and commercial matters; Ensure compliance to contract; Ensure compliance of legislation requirements with respect to all duties and responsibilities; Handle all contractual and commercial matters, including claim handling, progress delays and LDs, local content, contract amendments, communication with client and warranty; Ensure proper and active use of Change Control System. Initiate update of budget to related changes as approved by project manager. Act as Change lead for projects when dedicated resource is not allocated to this discipline. (Ref. Change Lead). The Business Manager is the Contract Management Lead in Projects responsible to implement contract management according to Contract Management Governing Procedure. Cost Management
Manage cost, financial progress, forecasting, estimate to complete and cash flow; Analyze cost trends and impact of changes; Provide budget breakdowns and actuals to functional areas and challenge to deliver to / or below budget; Approve invoices; Ensure timely and high quality invoicing to the client; Manage and challenge budget development and distribution within engineering, procurement and construction; Participate in final accounting and close-out of the contract; Ensure proper Inter-company handl
