As a Security Officer, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping a secure digital landscape for a leading tech company while directly influencing policy-making and cybersecurity strategy. **Responsibilities**
- Design and implement security policies, protocols, and standards that safeguard data integrity and confidentiality across the organization.
- Document incident response procedures and maintain security protocols.
- Conduct regular security audits and prepare compliance reports.
- Perform daily security monitoring and vulnerability assessments.
- Coordinate incident response efforts and provide security awareness training for employees.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Strong skills in threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, risk management, incident response, and knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001).
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Proven experience with incident response, risk assessment, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Analytical thinking, strong attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Remote working experience
- Minimal travel, primarily for annual team meetings or occasional site assessments.
- Flexible work schedule with a preference for EST time zone

**Nice to have**
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure), and familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
- Advanced scripting knowledge.
