**Key responsibilities**:
- Execute month-end procedures, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and other financial reports.
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and inter-company statements, including loans.
- Oversee weekly payment runs and invoice payment schedules.
- Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of invoices to payments, liaising with suppliers, banks, and other stakeholders.
- Manage reconciliations with multiple payment service providers.
- Calculate, prepare, and submit VAT returns and gaming tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Assist with external audits and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Review the work of junior team members, providing guidance and support.
- Perform other tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the finance department.
**Key Competencies**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACCA qualification (or in the final stages) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum **3-5 years** of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Experience in the iGaming industry or fintech is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of **GAAP/IFRS** and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with VAT, gaming taxes, and inter-company transactions.
- Familiarity with external audits and financial reporting.
