**Job Title**: Senior Finance Officer**Department**: Finance**Reports To**: Head of Finance**Location**: Malta**Job Summary****Key Responsibilities****Accounting Operations**:- Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, PSP reconciliations, and general ledger entries.- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS.- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.**Audit Management and Liquidation Processes**:- Coordinate and lead external audits and part-audits.- Work closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and resolve any audit-related queries.- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements during liquidation procedures.**Financial Analysis & Reporting**:- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.**Team Leadership**:- Mentor and support junior finance team members.- Foster a collaborative team environment and promote best practices in financial management.**Qualifications****Education**:- Fully qualified accountant (Master's in Accountancy or ACCA Professional).**Experience**:- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.- At least 2 years of experience in the iGaming industry.- Demonstrated experience in managing audits and liquidations.**Skills**:- Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, IFRS, and financial regulations.- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Business Central Dynamics 365, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.**What We Offer**- Competitive salary.- Flexible working options.- A dynamic and inclusive work environment.- Annual company trip to foster team spirit and collaboration.If you are a dedicated finance professional looking to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking company, we encourage you to apply.
