Chili Digital is a dynamic and data-driven digital marketing agency with operations in Panama, Mexico, and Brazil. We are seeking a highly experienced and autonomous Financial Controller to take full ownership of the company's financial planning, management, and operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who is comfortable managing all financial functions independently and reporting directly to upper management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage the entire financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts.
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare and present financial reports to upper management, providing insights and strategic recommendations.
- Establish and enforce internal financial controls and procedures to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Manage cash flow, financial planning, and ensure financial stability and liquidity of the company.
- Implement and manage accounting software and tools to streamline financial operations.
- Collaborate with management to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Handle all tax, compliance, and regulatory requirements for the company's operations in multiple countries.
- Perform financial risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
- Manage external accountants in Panama, Mexico, and Brazil to ensure compliance with local tax and employment regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance management role.
- Proven experience managing full financial operations independently, without support staff.
- Advanced knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., XERO) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLES, VBA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Advanced English proficiency is required; Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
