Senior Accounting Analyst

Local Unit & Position Description:
We are looking to add a Senior Accountant Analyst to our team working out of GSS Regional office.

**Tasks**:

- General accounting activities such as bookings (of payroll, fixed asset, taxes, bank transactions, supplier’s payments, employee´s reimbursements, etc.) and accounts reconciliations.
- Collaborate with Business Units to identify, prioritize, execute and document project financials, invoices & other controls
- Execute period end close accounting activities within the deadline (e.g. bookings: payroll, fixed asset, taxes, bank transactions, supplier’s payments, employee´s reimburses) and preparation and delivery of management and statutory accounts.
- The professional will have the challenge of interpreting and analyzing balance sheets (management and statutory reports) and chart of accounts. He/She will also carry out verification of classification and accounting reconciliation (suppliers, receivables, payroll, taxes, assets)
- Intercompany transactions follow-up and reconciliation

Position Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Accounting (mandatory)
- MBA/Post Graduation will be a plus
- Solid accounting experience ("Big Four" experience is a plus)
- Knowledge of Accounting practices (IFRS, IAS)
- Experience with SAP/Oracle (or equivalent ERP system)
- Ability to communicate in English clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Advanced Spanish is desirable
- Native in Portuguese (mandatory)
- Advanced skill at excel will be a differential. Intermediary level is required.
- Analytical and attentive to details, process improvement mindset
- Ability to handle multiple projects and adhere to tight deadlines
- Ability to interact effectively with internal customers and external suppliers
- Self-driven with teamwork spirit and interpersonal skills, take personal responsibility on professional development

This employee will be based in our Rio de Janeiro office and is expected to work in hybrid regime (partially at the office and partially at home)
