As the **Category Sales Lead for Insulation & Coating**, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and building lasting client relationships. You'll be responsible for achieving sales targets, shaping the future of our category strategy, and making a direct contribution to our company's success.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Strategy Development**:Create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the maritime and offshore industries to drive business growth.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
- **Business Development**:Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities with established Brazilian end-customers and potential new suppliers.
- **Sales Target Achievement**:Set, meet, and aim to exceed sales goals, consistently contributing to the overall success of the company.
**Required Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Administration, International Relations, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 5 years in the maritime and offshore industry, preferably in sales, supply chain, or technical areas.
- **Technical Expertise**:Strong knowledge of technical insulation and/or coating for offshore platforms in Brazil.
- **Technical Skills**:Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant system tools.
- **Language Proficiency**: Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
- **Location**: Based in Rio de Janeiro or willing to relocate.
**Desired Skills**:
- **Communication & Negotiation**: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in teams.
- **Results-Driven**: Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Familiarity with OIC, platform owners, shipowners, and shipyards is a strong plus.
- **Tech-Savvy**:Experience with CRM/ERP systems, international logistics, import/export processes, and event management is advantageous.
- **Additional Skills**:Knowledge of procurement platforms such as Petronect, SAP Ariba, Coupa, and Shipserv is a plus.
