Senior Accounting Assistant

Local Unit & Position Description:

- Collaborate with Business Units to identify, prioritize, execute and document project financials, invoices & other controlling activities
- Execute period end closing accounting activities within the deadlines (e.g. bookings, invoice process, reports)
- Billing process and business support routine
- Support to Sales team regarding customer´s forms, issuance of PO´s and contractual documents
- Process P&L analysis on a monthly basis
- Other accounting duties as assigned & Ad-hoc reports
- Managing preparation and delivery of management accounts and statutory accounts reports

Position Qualifications:

- Accounting Degree and experience required
- Billing process (Invoices, NFe)
- Knowledge of Accounting theories and practices (IFRS, IAS)
- Experience with SAP/Oracle (or equivalent ERP system)
- Analytical and detail oriented, with a process improvement mindset
- Ability to handle multiple projects and adhere to tight deadlines
- Ability to interact effectively with internal customers and the general public
- Self-driven with team work spirit and interpersonal skills, take personal responsibility on professional development
- Demonstrates ownership and accountability; also understands the need for and embraces change
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Native in Portuguese (mandatory)
