**What you'll be doing: Te whakamahere**
- The Regional Operations Manager role exists to ensure that NZTE has the best possible operational management throughout the region so that our commercial teams can focus on effectively supporting our customers to achieve their goals. You will work closely with the Regional Director and play a senior role in the Latin America Leadership Team.
This is a hands-on role with wide variety - you will not only be involved in a range of finance and human resources activities, but you will also be involved in managing process improvement projects, providing operational facility management and managing stakeholder engagement activities. You will also be responsible for managing a small administrative team that provide vital services to our Sāo Paulo office. Additionally, you will support to our Latin America Office Managers and act as a link back to colleagues in New Zealand - fostering a collaborative and consistent approach to operational management throughout the organisation.
**What you'll need to be successful: Ō Pūkenga**
- You will have a strong financial background as you will spend a lot of your time overseeing the finance function for the region which includes budgeting, reporting, and auditing. You will also have experience providing support across finance, HR (Human Resources), legal and operations, while having strong knowledge of local market contractual law and practices.
You will possess strong stakeholder relationship management and communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders - internal stakeholders include the Regional Director, Trade Commissioners, Business Development Managers, and our NZ People & Kōrako (HR) team. You will be results-oriented and have a knack for 'getting stuff done' and be able to turn your hand to many things including developing and implementing operational systems for the region. You will be a strong multi-tasker, have a knack for facilitation and not be afraid to do things outside your comfort zone.
