The Role & The Team

As Reporting & Analytics Systems Analyst, you will, in the context of data warehouse, business intelligence, and analytics projects and BAU work: solicit and document business requirements from business areas; assist in systems analysis and design; participate in solution design; participate in data modelling; conduct data profiling; and creating proof of concept.

As Reporting & Analytics Systems Analyst you will:

- Work closely with various business areas at all levels for solicitation and documentation of business requirements
- Utilise Business Intelligence reporting tools and other software packages to create proof of concept with data and reports, including the translation and interpretation of data into dashboards, briefings, and discussion papers; conduct data profiling
- Manage software health check, license monitoring, and general housekeeping
- Assist in systems analysis and design
- Participate in solution design
- Participate in data modelling
- Conduct data profiling

The Person

The successful applicant will have:

- Experience in business analysis, systems analysis & design, and data modelling.
- Experience as business analyst in enterprise data warehouse, BI, and analytics projects in public or private sector.
- Experience in manual and automated testing.
- Experience in data profiling.
- Experience in database SQL query
- Preferably with experience in IBM Cognos Analytics, Planning Analytics (TM1), and DataStage development
- All claimed experienced verifiable through references.

Security Clearance

To be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent resident as an Airservices Background check is required for this role. Please refer to the security check requirements successful applicants will be required to undertake as part of the recruitment process.
