Technical Solutions Consultant, Reader Revenue

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working with external partners or developers with technical leadership, project management, analytical problem solving, and troubleshooting
- Experience with web technologies, coding, and SQL
- Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience working with Linux and programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or equivalent
- Ability to collaborate, build consensus, and deliver and drive technical decisions with various sized customer stakeholder groups
- Excellent project or program management skills, leading and implementing high-impact projects, and influencing cross-functional teams
- Creative problem-solving approach, combined with a sense of responsibility, and a proactive attitude

The gUP News Publisher Ecosystem team empowers publishers in the News/Search ecosystem, enabling publishers and creators to bring their content to users of our products (e.g., News, News Showcase, News in Search, News on the Google Assistant, Podcasts, Subscribe with Google, Think with Google, and more). Our services include influencing product strategy and roadmaps, developing scalable operations/tools, helping onboard partners, piloting product launches, managing partner-facing services, and offering strategic partner management.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you'll balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions, and act as a partner and consultant. You'll also build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects. You'll be focused on delivering excellent customer care and make sure things go smoothly for our customers across the globe.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with Product Management and Engineering teams of external partners as they onboard and integrate into Google's technology platform and use Google's tools and products.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize partner onboarding strategies and operational workflows for products.
- Create technical content, including developer documentation and code samples.
- Manage metrics of partner content performance and internal operations using SQL and data visualization tools.
- Evaluate strategic areas of work and operational optimizations, establishing and documenting best practices and run books.
