The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, agencies, and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science. We are looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner Lead for the LATAM Region to join our growing Human Resources team. Based in São Paulo, this highly visible role aims to provide strategic partnership and consultation to the growing group of business teams in the US market.
As an HR Business Partner Lead, you will support your organization’s leader and his/her leadership team across the entire talent lifecycle. The role will be expected to strategize and collaborate with corporate, local, and Center of Excellence (CoE) HR team members to identify growth opportunities, engage and retain employees through HR initiatives, and aid in establishing an efficient organizational design.
**Responsibilities**:
- Consult with business leaders to translate business strategies and objectives into an HR roadmap; garner support and identity ownership for that roadmap; establish regular meeting cadence to advise/inform leaders of progress and further transparency throughout the organization.
- Coach leaders on people-related matters including talent assessment, development and succession; organization effectiveness, and high-performing team dynamics.
- Proactively manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and legal risk; ensure manager and employee compliance with company policies and procedures and governmental regulations, and partner with the legal department to support investigations as needed.
- Provide guidance and assistance in the implementation of business restructures, workforce planning, and headcount modeling.
- Enhance employee development & management throughout the year by providing coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback; execute a goal-setting agenda with 360 performance evaluations and oversee the formal performance review and calibration process.
- Measure and monitor trends and the impact of key HR metrics and dashboards to drive HR needs planning.
- Leverage the COEs (HR Centers of Excellence) to develop and implement programs that foster employee engagement, D&I, and success.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a high-growth company and a total of at least 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, as either a generalist, people leader, business partner, or human capital consultant.
- Prior experience supporting and working in a Tech Business environment is preferred.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Successful track record of designing and implementing people programs.
- Demonstrated progression and increased scope in a matrixed, high-growth organization.
- Deep business acumen and the execution know-how to build and grow businesses through the ongoing development and support of its people.
- BA/BS degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Human Resources Management preferred; certifications and course work in specific areas of HR expertise a plus, including coaching certifications.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English is required.
