As a Principal on the Digital Team at dss+, you will assume a key role in driving and expanding our presence in the Oil & Gas sector with a strong emphasis on business development. You will be responsible for developing and leading the regional go-to-market strategy and execution for our Oil & Gas Industry team, providing valuable solutions to clients. **The Role**

**You will be primarly responsible to**:

- Lead the technology strategy and execution for the dss+ Digital Practice, focusing on scaling and sustaining digital solutions.
- Oversee teams responsible for Data Science, Software Engineering, QA/Testing, and Solution Operations/Sustaining.
- Drive the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure digital platforms like dss+ 360, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the development pipeline of our proprietary solutions and guide the implementation of advanced technologies (e.g., AI, ML, IoT).
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of 20+ direct reports across India and Brazil.

**Specific Digital Technologies or Platforms**:

- AI/ML for risk assessment and predictive analytics.
- Data lake architectures and cloud technologies (Azure, Databricks).
- Integration of video analytics, IoT devices, and wearable technology.
- dss+ 360 platform and other digital tools supporting risk and HSE management (built on MongoDB,Node.js, Redis, RabbitMQ, Vue.js, Strapi CMS (or custom Node.js API), CDN (Content Delivery Network), Tableau, Power BI, Azure Cloud Hosting).

**Key Projects or Initiatives**:

- Develop and expand the adoption of dss+ 360 across all global projects, driving operational efficiency and insights.
- Develop and deploy cutting-edge analytics, benchmarking tools, and automated workflows.
- Ensure seamless integration of external software tools with internal platforms.
- Enhance cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with global data sovereignty requirements.

**Qualifications and Expertise**:
**Experience**:

- 10+ years in technology leadership, with a focus on digital transformation or technology strategy.
- Proven track record of leading large, diverse teams across geographies.
- Experience in managing technology-driven change and innovation projects.

**Certifications/Qualifications**:

- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Certifications in AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud Architecture and Agile methodologies are a plus.

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong expertise in software development, data science, and cloud-based solutions.
- Strong experience on managing DevOps teams.
- Advanced knowledge of AI/ML, predictive analytics, and risk management technologies.

**Industry Tools and Methodologies**:

- Familiarity with risk management platforms and HSE-specific tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of best practices in software engineering, QA, and sustaining operations is a plus.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Must excel in working across technical and non-technical teams, bridging the gap between business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior executives and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team-working attitude to collaborate within fast-paced, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Travel Required
