Purpose of the Job
Oxitec Brazil is at the forefront of advancing ground-breaking technologies to save lives and improve livelihoods. To support our rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and passionate individual to help transition Oxitec’s technologies to commercial markets with new customers, partners, and collaborators.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver regular, precise, and high-quality updates and briefings to the company’s senior leadership;
- Build and deliver comprehensive analysis of our commercial roadmaps in Brazil for a pipeline of innovative products for insect control in public health and agriculture;
- Build metrics, performance KPIs and reporting formats, improving these throughout the lifecycle of the product launch;
- Manage commercial contracts, pricing, and sales investments in line with local regulations and guidelines to support the company’s growth;
- Work closely with the communications teams to develop and deliver strong messages for new partners;
- Work closely with the company’s product development and leadership teams to help tailor our products and services to customer’s needs;
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential markets and customer needs, both in the public and private markets;
- Communicate clearly with all internal stakeholders including Senior Leadership, R&D, Operations, Marketing and Business Development divisions in Brazil and globally;
- Follow up the product go-to-market process, plan timelines, launch scenarios, pricing and promotions;
- Conduct user studies, interviews, and beta programmes with key clients to gather feedback from early adopters, and deliver high quality, executive level reports;
- Develop a detailed and versatile knowledge of the market; delivering regular analysis of the competitive landscape and innovating USP’s to differentiate our products;
- Create content for presentations, effectively communicating the purpose and benefits of Oxitec products to different audiences;
- Formulate and communicate clearly defined pricing strategies with stakeholders in Business Development, Marketing, and Finance;
- Identify potential risks to new products or sales channels and develop appropriate response strategies;
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with the Technical/Development team and the Sales team;
- Create sales collateral for Business Development and Marketing teams, updating marketing data and gathering new business intelligence;
- Analyse post-launch performance against predetermined KPIs.

Key Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum BA or BSc required in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or Technology-related field;
- At least 5 years-experience in Business Intelligence, Product Marketing, Project Management, or Product Management role(s);
- Capable of developing pricing and revenue forecast models;
- Capable of producing high quality, high level slide decks for senior audiences, and presenting them with excellence;
- Fluent in analytics methodology and tools;
- Fluent with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
- A great communicator with excellent verbal and written and communication skills in both English and Portuguese;
- Prior experience in public health is ideal but not a prerequisite.Interest in public health and a compassionate mindset is a musthave.
