**Description**:
The role is accountable for the accurate and timely completion of the month-end close process across Rizing’s accounts and accurate and compliant payrolls.
**Essential Functions**:

- Manage the Accounting function of Rizing within the designated area.
- Manage a team of Accountants through delegation, cross-training and a culture of accountability.
- Perform the duties of an Accountant to the degree necessary to achieve the organization’s objectives.
- Monitor KPI’s to ensure that accounting processes operate at required levels.
- Manage the month-end close processes and ensure that the accounts are closed within specified guidelines.
- Support any internal or external audits or reviews.
- Ensure the ongoing compliance of the firm with tax and other relevant government filings.
- Work closely with other managers across the financial operations and commercial finance teams.
- Generate financial reports.
- Ensure accounting standards are followed.
- Support control functions of the business, identifying transactional activity that does not comply with company standards, variances to budgets, identify issues of suspected fraud and issues of process non-compliance.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and reduce costs within the designated area.
- Manage the relevant insurance portfolio along with Rizing Legal Counsel to ensure appropriate coverage is maintained.
**Essential Functions (Continued)**:
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of relevant payrolls.
- Forecast cash requirements necessary to sustain business operations.
- Manage compliant intercompany accounting processes.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Local CA/CPA or equivalent.
- Minimum 6-years relevant experience.
**Desired Qualifications**:
- Experience working in a matrixed professional services organization.
- Experience working in a multi-currency, multinational company.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)**:
- Experience across a range of roles and responsibilities within a finance function.
- Significant experience in audit and compliance.
- Understanding of advanced accounting principles.
- Understanding of the principles of financial control functions.
- Proven ability to manage accounting figures and financial records in a multi-currency context.
- Staff management experience preferred.
- Discretion and appropriate handling of sensitive information.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines as well as handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A willingness to step in and get the job done.
- Process-driven.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understand the importance of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A team ethic, positive, proactive attitude and ability to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Intermediate computer software skills.
