Overview:
The Manager, Business Development is a revenue-producing role that is responsible for developing and managing relationships with a defined portfolio of partners. The role is responsible for selective new partner recruitment, partner engagement and enabling the partners’ sales resources and supporting their sales efforts.
Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and build partner base.
- Drive new business with existing partners and establish new client relationships within the eco-system.
- Support partners in cybersecurity sales presentations, review RFPs and define strategy to drive marketshare
- Own the sales process from prospecting to executing commercial contracts and as well as continuously manage the sales pipeline.
- Work with Mastercard Account Management and Product teams to identify new business opportunities.
- Develops financial modeling and business cases for identified business development opportunities
- Lead negotiations with partners and with internal stakeholders and develop terms sheets and contracts.
- Supports the execution and management of the customer contract agreement process
All About You:
- Manage channel pipeline and forecast reporting and track progress through the sales cycle
- Strong Business Development & Relationship management expertise.
- Possess a blend of analytical capability, strategic thinking, and emotional intelligence and able to dive deep on all areas of the business to deliver creative solutions to unstructured problems.
- Drive partner alignment sessions to review partners’ pipelines, conduct win/loss analysis, and develop account penetration strategies to identify and build new sales opportunities
- Engage Mastercard resources and stakeholders in support of partnership objectives and sales e.g., direct sales, Product Liaisons, marketing, etc)
- Required expertise on Cybersecurity industry trends and competitive landscape
- Knowledge in security standards and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27.001, ISO/IEC 27.002, ISO/IEC 27.701, PCI-DSS V 4.0, NIST CSF, CIS Controls v8, MITRE ATT&CK
- Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior management and business partners both internally and externally including Head of Fraud, CISO, CIO roles within customer organizations.
