**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Provide technical support for desktop systems ensuring all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems both remotely and on-site.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of desktop systems with network and server infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
- Assist in the development and deployment of new desktop solutions and technologies.
- Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their technical proficiency.
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure all desktop systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives to improve overall system performance and reliability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
**Qualifications**
- Possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Have 2 to 4 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills in troubleshooting and resolving desktop issues.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show proficiency in using remote desktop support tools.
- Have experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Display a solid understanding of network and server infrastructure.
- Be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Show the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Have a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Exhibit a customer-focused attitude and a dedication to providing high-quality support.
**Certifications Required**
- CompTIA A+ Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
