This is a full-time, fully remote role.

You will work with the AI engineering team to build AI systems that deliver world-class healthcare at software scale.About Aios MedicalOur overarching mission is to accelerate the mass-market adoption of consumer biotech products so every human can live at least 100 healthy years.

We are increasing the accessibility of GLP-1 medications to accelerate their take-up to help solve obesity worldwide.

We are building an AI-powered clinical operating system: ClinicOS, to make it effortless for consumer brands to offer direct-to-patient healthcare globally.

We work with external Brand Partners and our internal consumer healthcare brands.

Since our US launch in June 2021, Fella Health and other brands have grown significantly.

Our infrastructure aims to serve 100 million patients worldwide by 2035 and to scale biotech products at the patient level thereafter.

Ship production AI while keeping systems simple, reliable, and useful.

Collaborate across clinical, growth, and operations to achieve 10x improvements.Core AI infrastructure: develop a model-agnostic platform to switch between OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source models; implement robust A/B testing, intelligent routing, monitoring, and reliability fallbacks.AI-powered clinical care: drive AI adoption in ClinicOS, automate manual processes, create AI assistants for clinical teams, and measure impact on patient outcomes and operational efficiency.AI-powered growth: enhance the conversion funnel with AI-driven outreach and sales automation; explore tools like AI video generation, voice synthesis, and behavioral prediction; aim for human-level conversion with minimal manual touchpoints.Data & experimentation: advocate data-first decision making; study datasets, build MVPs quickly, run controlled tests with clear KPIs, scale winners, kill losers, and let data drive decisions over intuition.Qualifications6+ years of relevant software engineering experience with a focus on AI and machine learningStrong experience building production applications powered by LLMs; expertise in prompt and context engineering, RAG, model fine-tuning, and evaluation frameworksProficient in Typescript and/or PythonExperience designing and building modern, customer-facing APIsExperience building user-friendly interfaces using React or similar frameworksExperience leading engineering team membersNice to HaveExperience with AI/ML infrastructure including vector databases, embeddings, and orchestration frameworksExperience building evaluation and monitoring systems for LLMs in productionExperience with large-scale data pipelines and distributed systemsCloud platform experience (AWS) at enterprise scaleCS degree or equivalent experienceOpen source contributionsCompensation & BenefitsCompensation: $80k-$120k/year cash + equityVacation: generous time-offRemote: distributed across the worldHealthcare: comprehensive medical insuranceProfessional development: budget for books, courses, coaching ($600/yr)Personal wellness: budget for gym and health apps ($600/yr)Equipment: WFH gear provided as needed (e.g., Macbook)How to ApplyApply on Ashby or the platform you are inEmail ****** with: Resume, LinkedIn, GitHubRecruiter note: this job description is in progress; core requirements will not change.
