Overview
The Sales Manager at Approach International Student Center will be responsible for leading and expanding the commercial area in Brazil, connecting students and partners to the school's programs in the United States. This position requires a strategic professional with strong leadership, planning, and execution skills. The individual will be responsible for generating new leads, managing the sales team, meeting business goals, creating growth strategies, and ensuring a consultative customer experience aligned with Approach's mission: to create transformative opportunities through high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy and Planning
- Define sales goals and strategies aligned with the company's global objectives.
- Develop growth plans by territory, ICP (ideal customer profile), and market segment
- Manage the team's budget, headcount, and productivity capacity.
- Create and monitor sales OKRs and KPIs, ensuring predictability and excellence in results.
- Analyze the market, competition, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities.
2. Team Management and People Development
- Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Conduct 1:1 meetings, feedback sessions, IDPs (individual development plans), and performance reviews.
- Promote ongoing training, incentive, and recognition programs.
- Recruit, onboard, and support new team members, ensuring alignment with Approach's culture.
- Encourage innovation, ownership, and empathy as core pillars of the sales culture.
3. Sales Operations and Processes
- Ensure efficient execution of prospecting, negotiation, and closing processes.
- Monitor and optimize key indicators such as CAC, LTV, conversion rate, and sales cycle.
- Maintain and update playbooks, routines, and CRM tools.
- Ensure consistent execution of sales campaigns.
4. Relationship Management and Partnership Expansion
- Establish and strengthen partnerships with schools, universities, and companies to expand brand reach.
- Represent Approach at fairs, events, and strategic meetings.
- Create communication and relationship channels with representatives and alumni.
- Promote Approach's institutional image in Brazil as a reference in international education.
5. Cross-Department Collaboration and Strategic Projects
- Act as a liaison between the Marketing, Student Success, and Backoffice teams.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to generate qualified leads and strengthen the brand's digital presence.
- Participate in strategic meetings with the global leadership of Approach.
- Support the development of new products, campaigns, and expansion programs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the education, exchange, or franchising sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
- Experience structuring teams and developing high-performing sales professionals.
- Experience managing teams and using CRM tools (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or similar).
- Solid knowledge of sales funnel, performance, and conversion strategies.
- Advanced English; Spanish preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and inspirational leadership skills.
- Analytical, strategic, and results-oriented profile.
- Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Notion AI, etc.) for planning, reporting, and process automation.

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: R$2, R$15,721.47 per month
