Lead Salesforce Engineer - LATAM

Why this Role Matters:

Greenbox Capital is seeking a curious, driven, and collaborative Senior Salesforce Engineer to help scale our Salesforce platform across multiple clouds and business units. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants their work to have a direct impact on business outcomes.

In this role, you will design and build custom Salesforce solutions, working with Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud. You will partner with product owners, architects, and engineers to deliver impactful tools that support both internal teams and customers. You will also help optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and promote developmental best practices.

How you'll be measured:

  • Embody team culture and accountability mindset, ensuring cohesiveness amongst the developer team
  • Surface opportunities within the team that impacts productivity
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Design, develop, and implement features using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Flows and custom APIs
  • Own the build, testing, and delivery of high-quality code aligned with business priorities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Salesforce environment
  • Optimize existing Salesforce applications for speed, scalability, and usability
  • Follow and promote best practices for testing, version control, and deployment pipelines

What You've Done Before:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development and administration
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs
  • Possesses the competency to effectively guide and manage junior developers, fostering growth and ensuring code quality
  • Experience with Salesforce Clouds including Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud
  • Proven experience with REST, SOAP, and other Salesforce integrations
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, security, and sharing rules
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

Tools and Expertise You'll Bring:

  • Experience or familiarity with the alternative lending or financial services industry is a plus
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II or higher preferred
  • Familiarity with tools such as Git, Gearset, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Demonstrated success with multiple Salesforce implementations at the enterprise level
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for agile project tracking and reporting
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, especially in remote work environments
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
  • High emotional intelligence and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to cross-functional initiatives

Step 2: Hiring Manager Interview (1 hour)

A deeper discussion about the role, your relevant experience, and how you'd contribute to the team.

Step 3: Role-Specific Assessment or Panel Interview (1 hour)

Depending on the role, this may include a take-home assignment, Bryq assessment, technical interview, or live case study with team members.

Step 4: Final Interview or Leadership Chat (1 hour)

A final conversation with senior leadership or cross-functional team members to ensure alignment with our mission and values.

Step 5: Offer & Background Check

If it's a mutual fit, we'll move forward with background check and present a competitive offer. We aim to complete this process within 2–3 weeks from your first conversation with us.
