Main responsibilities:
Partner with teachers, Learning Support, and Counselors to create safe, inclusive, and predictable classroom environments. Support social-emotional learning through proactive routines and targeted interventions. Design, implement, and monitor interventions that include prevention and proactive strategies for the whole school, targeted small-group supports for students who need additional help, and individualized plans for students requiring intensive behavior interventions. Collaborate with families to strengthen home–school partnerships. Collect and analyze data to guide decisions and measure student progress. Promote a culture of respect, belonging, and alignment with the Nations Profile. Support crisis prevention and response using trauma-informed practices
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, School Counseling, or a related field. Bilingual fluency in English and Portuguese. Experience implementing behavioral supports in Early Childhood or K–12 settings. Knowledge of PBIS, SEL, UDL, MTSS, and trauma-informed practices. Strong skills in data collection and analysis for behavior monitoring. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with cultural sensitivity.
