Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage all aspects of the plant's operations, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
- Manage the plant budget, including monitoring expenses and controlling costs.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Implement Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and quality, to support new product introductions.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on plant performance and strategic recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Significant experience (10+ years) in a plant management or senior production role, preferably in a smaller manufacturing facility.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control methodologies.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement tools.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
