We are looking for an intern to:
- support Sales in servicing institutional clients via UBS research platforms and market data providers.
- assist in analyzing client service consumption data and preparing client reports.
- support the sales team in maintaining UBS' client database and access to UBS systems.
- collaborate with internal teams including Research, Corporate Access, Technology, Compliance, and Operations.
- participate in automation initiatives and process improvement projects.
- contribute ideas to enhance the sales and corporate access teams strategies and tools.
- stay up to date with market trends and key UBS research stock calls.
- help prepare internal and client-facing materials and presentations.
Your team
You'll be working in the Institutional Equities Sales Team in São Paulo. We offer you a unique experience in supporting institutional client coverage and vast market content covering global equities, including economics, strategy, and stock calls. This role offers exposure to daily market related discussions with UBS analysts, economists, and the sales team actively covering institutional investors. It will occasionally also offer the opportunity to meet corporates presenting at group events at UBS offices.
Your expertise
- ideally advanced English skills
- Excel knowledge (including formulas, pivot tables, and charts).
- basic knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation tasks.
- interest in financial markets, economics, and the stock market.
- strong communication skills and attention to detail with pro-active behavior.
- currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields.
