Your day-to-day impact:
- Project Leadership: Coordinate and manage end-to-end finance transformation projects (e.g., ERP implementation, process automation, new accounting standards integration).
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing financial processes (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Treasury, Reporting) and identify opportunities for improvement, standardization, and automation to achieve efficiency and scalability, aligning with our Results Orientation value.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between the Finance team, IT/Tech teams, and external consultants, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- System Implementation: Participate in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of new financial systems and modules, ensuring they meet business requirements and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies, including training materials and workshops, to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems by the Finance team and other impacted departments.
- Documentation & Governance: Maintain comprehensive documentation for new processes and system configurations, ensuring robust financial controls and compliance.
- Data Integrity: Work closely with the Data & Analytics teams to ensure financial data architecture supports accurate and timely reporting and analysis, fostering a culture of Knowledge.
Must-haves to shine in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Finance, Financial Systems, or Project Management, preferably within a high-growth technology or Fintech company.
- Demonstrated experience in managing or coordinating complex financial transformation projects (e.g., ERP implementations - Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc., or major system upgrades).
- Strong understanding of core financial and accounting principles (IFRS/US GAAP) and best practices for financial operations.
- Excellent project management skills (e.g., planning, risk management, stakeholder communication). Certification (PMP, Scrum) is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory; fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is a strong differential.
- High proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, showcasing Persistence and resilience in the face of challenges.
