About This Role
Quanted is seeking a Data Partnerships Associate to grow and manage our network of data providers across market, fundamental, alternative, and emerging datasets. This is a relationship-driven role that blends commercial acumen with strategic account management. You will shape how data partners are sourced, onboarded, profiled, and supported on the platform, directly influencing how high value datasets are discovered and used by quant teams at top investment firms.
Your Responsibilities
- Vendor acquisition & onboarding: Identify and secure new data providers, introduce them to our platform, and set clear expectations for collaboration and success.
- Account management: Serve as the main contact for a portfolio of vendors, managing regular check-ins, updates, and relationship growth opportunities.
- Vendor success: Translate user and platform insights into actionable feedback for partners, improving dataset visibility, commercial fit, and market reach.
- Partnership strategy: Contribute to how we position, profile, and categorize datasets so value is clear to buyers.
- Go-to-market support: Collaborate on partner showcases, launches, and marketing initiatives to highlight vendor value.
- Cross-team coordination: Work with growth, product, and technical teams to ensure smooth integrations, updates, and partner initiatives.
- External representation: Represent Quanted in meetings, calls, and events with data vendors and industry stakeholders.
What You'll Need
- A bachelor's or master's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field. Familiarity with data is important.
- 1–3 years' experience in partnerships, account management, vendor relations, customer success, or sales in data, fintech, SaaS, or research.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to negotiate, handle objections, and move commercial discussions forward.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with a talent for running structured calls and writing clear follow-ups.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple accounts and keep pipelines moving.
- Familiarity with CRM and productivity tools (e.g. HubSpot, Notion, Slack, Apollo, Google Workspace).
- Commercial curiosity: An instinct for understanding value, market positioning, and buyer needs.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with or for data vendors, fintechs, or research providers.
- Understanding of systematic investing, data products, or emerging tech applications.
- Comfort discussing delivery methods with technical contacts, without needing to develop code.
- Experience in high-growth or early-stage business environments.
